There is a growing need for the design of mobile networks that support high density of devices for example users of national mobile networks in urban areas, in a synchronous CDMA system. In this system, every user is assigned a different orthogonal spreading sequence to minimize interference between them. Orthogonal gold and orthogonal m-sequences are types of orthogonal spreading sequences for synchronous CDMA system. However, number of sets or number of distinct sequences having by those sequences is not large enough for such application. In this paper, the author proposes a novel method to generate very large sets of orthogonal spreading sequences for such high density mobile application scenarios. The simulation results show that the proposed sequence has similar peak cross-correlation value to that of the orthogonal gold and orthogonal m-sequences while the capacity is significantly higher than that of the orthogonal gold and orthogonal m-sequences.
